Traditional gear cutting standards often fail to account for the accelerated wear caused by these abrasive conditions, leading to frequent downtime during critical harvest seasons.
Currently, many local farmers utilize legacy equipment that requires constant maintenance. The demand for high-torque components, such as the pinion gear, has surged as Iraq transitions toward larger, more automated irrigation and tilling systems to combat desertification.
Despite the challenges, there is a growing shift toward precision engineering. The integration of advanced materials in bevel gear systems is becoming essential to maintain the power transmission efficiency of modern seeders and plows operating in the diverse soil types of the Al-Anbar and Basra regions.
